The Week in Music

Just wanted to let church musicians know what we did at the Longview Baptist Temple this past Sunday in the music department. John Robinson and Chandler Tolley sang "Ten Thousand Years" (found in More Songs and Hymns of Revival), Kelly and DeAnna Gray sang a new duet, "Nothing But the Blood", from Rejoice Music website, great song. Sunday night the JoySong Teen Ensemble sang two songs - "The Potter and the Clay" (Lillenas) and "It's In His Name" (Majesty Music). Although the first song is a golden oldie, it is new to this group of teens. Suzanna Jordan and Becky Lyons played a beautiful violin duet - "O Glorious Love/Oh How I Love Him". We had a new choir special last week - "We Preach Christ" from Lillenas music. We were really excited about that one. Hope all is going well in your music ministry!
